Hiya.

Hiya.

Im Yixuan (she/her), a UX designer based in Melbourne, focused on creating human-centred digital experiences across platforms, products, and services, with a background in motion and storytelling that brings a balance of structured thinking and visual craft to my work.

"When Im not designing, Im on a tennis court, watching a good whodunit, or fishing when the weather agrees."

My connection with design started early, shaped by growing up around my dad’s artwork and years spent drawing, painting, and exploring how shapes, colours, and composition create harmony.

I first studied landscape architecture at RMIT, where I learned to think about how people move through and experience spaces. Later, my Master’s in Multimedia Design at Monash shifted that thinking into the digital world, exploring how experiences can guide and communicate through a screen.

After several years working in multimedia design, I found myself increasingly drawn to the thinking behind the visuals: how systems connect, why interactions happen in a certain order, and whether a design is truly solving the right problem. That curiosity led me to UX, where I now combine creative craft with problem-solving to design experiences that work for people.
